On Saturday the 12th of February 2011, HV Motors put on a Car Wash for the Queensland's Premiers Flood Relief Appeal.

The following staff at HV Motors who donated their time Peter Hurrell, Adrienne Houlihan, Kimberly Harvey, Tara Lang, Luke Jantke, Justin Hurrell, Conrad Noske and Sandy Chambers had a great morning putting on the car wash and a fantastic response was received from the public, we raised $800.00 from the car wash, sausage sizzle and drink stand.

HV Motors would like to thank everyone who came along and got their vehicle cleaned for this cause.

HV Motors would also like to thank the following businesses Porter Street Butchers & Baker's Delight for donating the sausages and bread for the sausage sizzle and Heathy's Rock Solid Contractors for donating the soft drinks; and also the following people Matthew & Chelsea Heath and John Harvey for donating their time helping with car wash and cooking the sausage sizzle and 6 year old Kylie Hurrell for helping to cook and serve the sausage sizzle.

After a successful six months of Meet Every Listener travelling throughout the Eyre Peninsula to local businesses and broadcasting live, Magic FM 89.9 and HV Motors, gave away the Mazda2 on Sunday 20th June 2010 at the Port Lincoln Hotel.

Magic FM 89.9 was live on the day, with Kym Mellow from Mazda Australia and Greg Bakker from the radio station, calling out the contenders from a lucky dip barrel.

With over 60 people trying there luck at opening the Mazda2, the lucky winner was Brooke Giles.

HV Motors along with Magic FM 89.9 would like to thank all the local businesses and people involved with Meet Every Listener and congratulations to Brooke for winning the Mazda2.
